Prepped Hair:

We do not offer blow-out services for pageants. In the event you or your child shows up with wet hair you/they will be asked to dry their own hair and then return when it is ready to be styled. Your styling time will ultimately be cut short because we can not shorten anyone else's time to accommodate your situation. Please plan accordingly, come with your hair prepped for the style you are wanting. If you know you want to wear your hair with natural curls do not arrive with them blown out or straightened. If you would like to wear your hair straight, do not arrive with it full of product and with natural curls. Your hair will be styled in the way your hair was prepped for upon arrival.

 

Hair Extensions:

Hair must be provided by client, pre-cut and colored if necessary. Hair must be removed from any packaging and ready to use. Please tell the stylist whether extensions are synthetic or Remy human hair. Stylist and/or Texas Glam Squad is not responsible for the damage of any extensions provided by the client. It is the clients' duty to inform stylist of any hair instructions pertaining the extensions. *Hair Extension placement and trimming is only available for select events and must be done in advance and paid for before services are rendered.

Styling Full Day vs.1 Look Only:

We know not all pageants are the same. Many pageants have different events on different days, and some days are packed with events and others are lighter days. To make this easier on our clients we have separated the two packages. For example, if you know in advance you have Personal Interview in the morning and a free afternoon or no other events you would like styling for there is no need to pay for a Full Day of styling. Simply opt for the 1 Look Only package. If you would like styling all day long and style changes then select the Full Day option. The 1 Look option does come with touchups, but no style changes.

 

Pricing:

Pricing may vary by event, location, or whether we are sponsoring a discount for particular pageant, in which case we may offer a discount code to include in checkout. We travel within Texas as well as out of state. Our Travel Fee may vary depending on flight scheduling, hotel costs, and holidays.

Schedules, Times, and Appointments:

Clients must be paid in full the week before the pageant. Schedules will be sent out before the pageant once a final headcount is obtained. They are done in accordance of what time the contestants need to be ready: For example: by age division, competition category, and whether or not a contestant is participating in a particular area of competition. Parents and clients are not allowed to select their own time slots. Schedules are written and planned out with the group as a whole in consideration and during the breaks when styling is allowed. Please be on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are late, your time will not go over another client's and your time will be cut short. *In the event pageant rehearsals and/or events have a last minute schedule change, we are not responsible and will try to modify schedules to accommodate these changes to make sure everyone is styled on-time. We need everyone to be flexible and able to adjust to last minute changes when needed.

 

Parking:

If complimentary parking is not available at the venue and/or hotel, we ask that the client(s) provide a voucher or reimburse each artist for their parking fee.

 

Booking for out of State Pageants:

Every client must pay the Deposit/Travel Fee for any event that requires on-location styling out of state. This fee is non-refundable and does not go towards or deducted from your styling services fees. This covers the cost of travel, airfare, gas, and hotel for our stylists.

Clients that currently have reservations will not be affected by any future pricing changes.
